What Annoys People in Each State
Have to say, having lived in Texas, Connecticut, Virginia, New York, California and Oregon, I agree with the top vote-getters in each stage...except for New York. I mean, I'm not a huge fan of eructation—at least, not when others do it—but really? That's your biggest pet peeve? Not traffic? Really?

Of the states I've lived in—Texas, Connecticut, Virginia, New York, California and Oregon—Texas and New York and California definitely win (and probably in that order), while Virginia and Connecticut are tied for are you KIDDING me?!

This has already been covered, but times change, wants change...or maybe algorithms just change.
Some of these are funny, some of these are surprising, some are just sad. (Not least Louisiana—do you think they actually meant to ask about "secession"?) And I'll bet there are plenty of folks in Virginia unhappy to discover they're just like California.

Disappointing but not exactly surprising. Oh, well: I'm sure things'll get better over the course of the rest of the decade.
